Information clause

Information on the protection of data made available to the Administrator - Data Optics Poland Sp. z o.o., compliant with the Regulation of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016.

1. Administrator of personal data
Data Optics Poland Sp. z o.o., hereinafter Data Optics, is the most specialized wholesaler of fiber optic equipment in Poland. In connection with its activities, according to European regulations, Data Optics is the administrator of personal data.

2. Objectives of data processing
Personal data processed by Data Optics is mainly used for:
  • proper performance of services provided by the company;
  • tax / accounting purposes related to the course of transactions;
  • conducting legitimate business activities of the company and marketing of services provided.

3. Data sources and categories
The data is obtained directly through contact of the contractor with Data Optics or from manufacturers and distributors cooperating with Data Optics.
The following categories of personal data are processed:
  • name of the company represented, address of registered office, NIP;
  • name and surname of contact persons, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, additional addresses, eg for sending goods or branches of the company;
  • history of cooperation, ie e-mail, summary of telephone conversations, meetings (eg for the purpose of a possible complaint process related to the order),
  • in the case of the website, additional cookie files and IP addresses for purposes of min. non-personalized traffic analysis on the site.

4. Recipients of data
The recipients of the data are, or may be:
  • entities processing data on our behalf, on the basis of contracts concluded by us or public authorities acting on the basis of legal basis.

5. Information on the rights of persons whose personal data are processed by Data Optics
Data Optics ensures the following rights for persons whose personal data is processed:
  • the right to inform about the processing of personal data
  • the right to access the content of personal data processed
  • the right to rectify the data
  • the right to request the Administrator to delete data
  • the right to request the Administrator to limit the processing of data
  • the right to transfer data
  • the right to object to the processing of data
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory body or supervisory body of another EU Member State
  • the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time
  • the right to obtain human intervention from the Administrator, express their own position and challenge the decision based on automated data processing.

6. Time of data storage
The data is stored as long as there is a legal basis / basis for the legitimate interest of Data Optics to store them or until objection to their processing.

7. Basics for data processing
The legal basis for data processing is the necessity resulting from the correct implementation of the service under the purchase and sale agreement and the basis for the legitimate interests of the company.

8. Profiling
Personal Data profiling by Data Optics involves data processing (also in an automated way), by using them to evaluate some information, in particular to analyze or predict preferences and interests.
